Carnival Luminosa Day 7: April 19, 2023 Sea Day

Last night I ordered Room Service at 8pm for 8am so I set an alarm this morning. I was up 15 minutes before just in case. Unfortunately, the food arrived at 815 and this time without cream cheese. At least it arrived so I will consider myself lucky.

I headed down to grab a coffee at the casino and put $5 through the machine. I hit the mega bonus of $104 from the panda slot machine!!! So it really is a good day.

I cashed out $100 and went up to the buffet to get some pictures to show you the selections available up there. I grabbed a breakfast burrito and headed back to the room.

I ate breakfast and watched the Wave morning show. After the show I kept hearing a gurgling sound from the bathroom. When I looked water was spraying up out of the drain like it was possessed. I let the steward know and went out to check on the schedule at the gym.

I left the room hoping that problem would resolve itself by the time I got back. I went to the gym and asked about the unlimited pass for $99. They actually are saying for the whole cruise now so I am seriously considering it. If I can do yoga or pilates every day, I think that would be worth it to me.

Down to the ocean Plaza on 2 for daily soduku and trivia and puzzle time. An hour turned into several as trivia turned into dance lessons. I had a nice table near a sunny window sill and I just camped out until 130 when the lecture on ship life started in the theater.

The ship life lecture was interesting. Someone asked the crews favorite ports and several said Aruba and Cozumel as well as Estonia and Cairns. They said there would be 12 guest entertainers and 3 production shows for 22 days. It makes me curious what the orher 7 nights are. 34 room stewards do 28 to 36 cabins each with a helper.

I took a nice nap and got ready for dinner. Unfortunately, the shower drain was a geyser most of the day. I complained this morning but it still was not fixed as of my shower before dinner.

At dinner, I ordered a shrimp, crab cake, and a salad for the appetizer. For dinner, I ordered a pumpkin tart and a pork chop. For dessert, I had a Grand Marnier soufle.

I planned to see a comedy show at 8 but decided to wait in the theater and the variety show was an entertainer who played multiple music instruments. It was a good show and I stayed until the end.

After the show, I went to check the buffet to see if it was different but it was basically what we had in the dining room.

I checked on the gym for the new schedule but it wasn't ready yet. They told me the free stretch class was at 7am. I'll see if I can wake up.

Earlier today the schedule said to set clocks back 23 hours but I guess everyone was confused so we are setting them back 24 hours now. We'll see how that goes.
