Carnival Luminosa Day 12: April 23, 2023 Day at Sea

I was up at 7am and headed down to the Casino for my daily cup of coffee. Just as I was running out of daily funds, I won $12. I finished my coffee and cashed out for the day. I headed back to the room to wait for room service. Sadly, I forgot my daily sudoku and the printed schedule. After breakfast, I headed down for sudoku and the schedule. The Lei making activity was filling up 90 minutes before the scheduled time. I went in and sat down to work on the daily sudoku.
People came in and joined the table as we chatted with the Hawaiian ambassadors. A lady suggested that men shouldn't be able to make Leis. They shut her down and she left in a huff. Given the limited activities the room was more than full by 10am. The activity was scheduled to start at 1030. There were only 35 needles and more than 100 people that wanted to make a lei. I'm sure everyone who wanted a lei was able to make.one but I finished in less than 15 minutes and got out of there.
I headed to brunch in the dining room and had a nice cheeseburger which I am happy to say was much better than last time.
After lunch, I headed back to the stateroom to grab the passport receipt so I could go to pick up my passport. I grabbed a quick nap to prepare myself for Ukulele classes.
My alarm went off and I headed to class early. There were over 100 people in the room and 15 ukuleles provided by the ship. I helped tune the ukuleles so they could get ready for the class. They were completely overwhelmed with the crowd and many took turns sharing ukuleles. I tried to help students who wanted to learn.
Soon class was over and a few people who wanted to learn and some of the ship entertainers joined us. It was really fun playing with them and chatting. The time flew by and I had to go and get ready for dinner.
Right before I left the room, the captain announced we would be arriving in Honolulu a day early and staying overnight because we all needed to clear customs.
I headed to dinner. I ordered strawberry bisque, quesadilla, mahi mahi, and a tiny strawberry cream dessert. No matter how hard I try to keep dinner small, I am always stuffed. A nice bonus was the sunset as the meal arrived.
I headed to the show and saw another comedy magician. This guy Glen Foster wasn't really my thing but it was funny and I did enjoy the show.
Although I wanted to see the silent disco, there just weren't enough activities to keep me busy for the 90 minutes before I fall asleep.

Happy Cruising!
