Norwegian Bliss: 7 Jan 2023 Day 1 Miami

I booked the 15 Day NCL Bliss out of Miami to Los Angeles on 1/7/23. Since I booked last minute, I got a great rate for an inside cabin but a lot of the cheaper excursions are booked up. I'll still give you the play by play.

The line at NCL Miami Terminal B was about a half hour long when I arrived at 1PM. I was able to.get my room key and board the ship. I went straight to my muster station, and then straight to book the shows on board. I then booked my specialty dinners on sea days. 

I had lunch in the buffet and then headed down to the observation lounge for dessert and a nap in the comfy chairs!

At 5 I went to the solo meetup and met Henry the solo coordinator who took a huge group up to the solo lounge where they have an awesome coffee maker.

By 5:45 I went with friends to the Manhatten dining room. We each had one appetizer, one entree, and one dessert. It took about 90 minutes. The food was good, but the decaf coffee I ordered never arrived.

I rushed off to get a set at the Live! The Beatles show which turned out to be excellent! The theater is huge much like the rest of this 4004 passenger ship. The cruise director is funny. He managed to take an incident of a drunk old guy climbing up on the stage with the Beatles into a joke by saying and tonight we had one.of the original.Beatles join us.

Then it was off to karaoke. It w

as a unique experience since there is a college band team on board from Wisconsin and there were 30 college seniors that pretty much took over the scene. That said there were also some incredible singers of Green Day and Coldplay.

Soon I had to call it a night. Early mornings and travel make the first day of my cruises an early night. Fortunately, there are two sea days right up front on this one so I can sleep late.
