Cruise Deal Alert: 20 Day Cruise Deal $50 per night solo or duo

In theory, it sometimes makes sense to book two cabins as a couple instead of one cabin together. Case in point.

MSC currently has a Free balcony upgrade deal with a $500 on board credit.

I ran the numbers on a 20 Night cruise out of Miami on November 20, 2022 ending in Sao Paulo Brazil on December 10, 2022. Not only is the cruise a great deal but the airfare is also cheap to/from those cities on those dates.

Let's run the numbers:

Inside cabin is $2158 lowest price if they assign the cabin.

Two solo inside cabins are $2309 unassigned. Not as cheap as a single cabin booked together. Now let's look at the balcony options.

A single balcony with a free upgrade minus the $500 OBC (You pay this for tips and wifi anyway on the inside cabin so this is a valid comparison as the $500 will come out of tips and wifi charges) will set you back $2226. Awesome deal for a 20 day cruise.

Now, the real deal is Solo Balconies each with a $500 OBC. Two solo cabins will set you back $1999 for 20 days. Thats $50 each per night for this cruise including tips and most of your wifi fees.

Note that if you are solo you pay $1499 for the cruise and get $500 OBC. Unbelievable at still $50 per night.

I hope someone can take advantage of this deal before it is gone.
