Virgin Valiant Lady Day 8: Smooth Sailing

It is Day 8 and the passengers are in the groove now as the days blend into each other.
The morning Sun Worshipper and Meditation classes start the day.

I kept breakfast light and zipped down to the Wake which had a one hour wait.
I asked for their special donuts to go and enjoyed them in my room.
I wanted to send out my laundry since we are at the halfway point and I wanted to checkout the $30 service.
i did the 80s VHS sweating to the oldies class which was part excercise and part show. In fact, I would almost say it has been the most entertaining show on board so far. The 3 staff did a fantastic job singing along to the songs while they guided us through the part dance routine and all workout. I will try to catch the workout again before the end of the cruise.
I asked for them to convert my room while I went to the Roll Out and the Breathing classes. This change makes the room feel huge!

We went to Gunbae for dinner but it was not as good as the first time.
Tonight they repeat the Never Sleep Alone show and Around the World with the Diva show. They also repeat the nerd show. We went to the Risky Quizzness trivia competition. It was definitely entertaining.

Sinxe the weather is much nicer, I need to add on to the ship tour from yesterday,
If you pass through the elevators mid ship on deck 15 in front of the Galley, you come out to the pool area.
There is a giant hot tub pool thing and lots of sun loungers.
The pool is a little more to the front. There are actually more staterooms in front of this area. So I went up to Deck 16.
Deck 16 has the Sun Cafe on one side.
There is a smoking lounge on the other side. The exclusive Richard's Rooftop is in front of this area. Since I am not a rockstar, I will take you towards the back of the ship.
The ship has a beautiful pool area that is packed on a sunny day.
You can see the hot tub pool thing better from up here.
Further down there in an entrance to the basketball dodgeball place.
There is a nice lounge area with a hot tub and a net that looks down to the eating area on Deck 15.
There are really cool swings and seesaws along the port side of 16 as we walk forward.
There is a punching bag from the boxing ring.
Here we can look down on the pool area again.
The exclusive Richard's Rooftop is entrance controlled so this is the best view I can give you.
Speaking of views, there is a set of stairs that takes us up to the walking track, and then up to the Perch.
The Perch is lovely but windy and there are very few folks here.
This is the view looking towards the front of the ship on the port side from the Perch.
Leaving the perch we'll follow along the walking running path counter clockwise.
Everything is shiny clean and beautiful.
That concludes the tour of decks 15, 16, and 17 (walking track) 18 (Perch).
